A Leisure Weekend in the U.P.

The Pro staff headed out to the mine ponds and a few other 'dynamite' spots to hook into some crappie, bass, and some pike. It was a little on the warmer side on friday but the crappie were sure biting, just not for aaron. The small small mouth were in no short supply as proved by Zach,Jon,Mr.E, and Aaron. An occasional eagle, loon, and beaver were spotted on the water front.

On an early morning a few of the guys were able to head out to a nice lake for some trolling. The fish were down deep and it was hard to hook into 'em.

Altogether a wonderful weekend spent together in Gods creation.

"Aint that a fine howdy do"!

At a local lake i caught my limit on Bluegill and towards the end i caught a very nice 33 3/4 inch northern pike tipping the scales at 11 lbs.

It seemed after a long days work that fishing would be a good idea and maybe even relaxing.

It was so relaxing that i almost fell out of the boat....zzz.

I went fishing for Pike and bass...but struck out.

I used a wide variety of lures from spinners to crank baits.

Towards Dusk I ended up catching two pan fish. The bigger of the two was an 11 inch crappie. I caught this fish while jigging off the bottom...and to all you funny people(you know who you are) no i was not dancing a 'jig' in the water- har har

These fish are sure nice looking and a fun catch.
